Sandi is a graduate of the Texas Woman’s University Occupational Therapy Program with over 20 years experience in upper extremity rehabilitation. She has been a certified hand therapists since 2000.
She is trained in manual therapy, activity modification, static and dynamic splint fabrication, ergonomics as well as preventative and post-operative treatment techniques for hand, wrist, and elbow-related injuries.
Sandi believes in teamwork and the collaboration with treating physicians for patients to receive the best possible outcome: “Performing a home exercise program is key to successful outcome. Communication is really important. I like to collaborate on treatment goals, explain treatment plan and be able to adjust as needed until patients reach their desired goals.”
