Jamie Mitz, M.S., ATC
Jamie is from Boise, and she first knew she wanted to pursue Athletic Training when she was in high school. She loved her sports medicine class and couldn’t think of a better job than working in athletics, helping athletes get back on the field. She graduated from Washington State University with her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2010.

Jamie was born and raised in Boise, ID and decided to pursue athletic training as a career during high school. She loved her sports medicine class and couldn’t think of a better job than working in athletics, helping athletes get back on the field. She graduated from Washington State University in 2010 with her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training and then from Utah State University with her Master’s in Health and Human Movement with an emphasis in Sports Medicine in 2012. Jamie spent 6 years working in the collegiate setting in Utah, Texas and Idaho before she decided to switch to the high school setting. In 2018 she moved to Portland, got married and started working as the athletic trainer for Lincoln High school where she currently still works today. She provides athletic training coverage to the United PDX Men’s USL 2 and Women’s USL teams in the summers and currently serves on the board of the Oregon Athletic Trainers’ Society in addition to being the liaison to the Secondary Schools and Financial Sustainability Committees. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with her children and husband as well as reading and traveling.
