Profile
One of the things Stephanie Freed loves about her work is that she gets to know people along the way. It also allows her to stay active during the day, so she knows the importance of helping her patients get back to their normal level of activity.
“We honestly want to help you get better and learn more about you as a person,” she says. “Don’t be afraid to ask questions and express yourself. It helps so much when the communication line is open for questions and concerns.”
Stephanie’s specialties include selective functional movement assessments, myofascial release, strain/counter strain, Graston Technique, and sports-specific return to sport training. As a physical therapist, she strives to encourage a whole-body approach to long-term success and believes in an active rehabilitation program. A Portland native, Stephanie received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from University of Missouri and earned All-American honors as a pitcher on the university’s softball team. She brings an energetic and positive outlook to her work, advising that “laughter is the best medicine.”
